What is up with people and ratings? I find that nowadays, people just want to give everything a number to feel better about themselves and it has to stop.

It may be fun and informative to put a number on something but behind it all, it's just an derogatory act. Is one happy about being rated for overall appearance or, being excited about getting shortlisted for this list that rates you if you're best or worst at something? 

Along the way, it just hurts people and the person who started it all does not even know it. 

Enough with the rating games it is not just "out of pure fun" it is a demeaning and selfish act that one may not even know he/she is acting on.

If you want juicy details, dirt and stuff like that, just stick to good ol' plain gossip and make sure there are no hole in the washtub (if y'know what i mean)
